...wtf title for this one... XD
I wanted something that sounded deep. I dont think it makes THAT much sense, though... >_>
Anyway, I noticed... They actually moved Anime/Manga into it's own seperate heading? Not a catagory of Traditional Art > Drawing?
Sweet...
Kyouraku now needs to be fixed to that. >_>;;;
So anyway... a bit of an emotional inspired drawing...
Sunday Night, during Con, we went to a club called the Church.
It's kind of a Goth club... (Hence why Ryo is wearing WAAAY too much black.)
So anyway... Most of the time I sat there feeling lonely while everyone else danced...
That, and I couldnt work up the nerve to ask a certian someone to dance with me...
I dun like clubs much at all...
But, hey. The music was good... And I DID dance after all. (And without arrows! ZOMG!)
Anyway, this was kind of in tribute...
He's just sitting alone at a table... Feeling rather miserable... (And yes, that's a tear. XD)
I love the black in this... It was hard using the fine white lines to keep it from looking like one huge black lump. (Ohhh, I wanted to SOO bad. XD)
Lots of detail... especially in the clothes. I dont know what I was thinking... Fish Net, Torn Knee, Rectangle cutouts in the leg, Ribbon down the arm, and what looks like the bracer that Miroku from Inu Yasha uses... O_o
And hey! His hair's tied back. That's pretty cool...
Gave an interesting curvey, yet still gothic-esque design to the table legs and chair...
I think it turned out pretty good...
It needs background, and darkness contrasted with strobe lights or something. Oh well.
Ha, I like the design of the outfit. :3
Overall, it perfectly expresses the feeling of lonliness and bordom together. I jus figured out that Ryo was really apping his fingers on the table with his left hand.(I mean....that's what he's doing, right?) Still, it really looks cool.
Tapping? Well, no, not quite. Note that his hand is palm up. So he just kinda has it laying there with the fingers curving upward. (I'm getting SOOO much better at hands. XD)
The outfit design came out REALLY well. And it wasnt planned out or anything. I just started with plain shirt and pants, then went tweaking stuff from there.
For the LONGEST time, I hated the look of his figure... But as I finally got the detailing in, he started looking pretty good.
Anyway, I dunno about boredom... Just Lonliness and some sort of depression. It's a miserable feeling. I'd rather be bored anyday. <_<;;;

Wrong you are. But, now that I think of it... Tidus really DID have his pants done quite similar to that.
Maybe it was subliminal inspiration? O___o;;;
Weeeiiirrrd. XD
Yeah. For some reason the hair tied back made more sense. I really like that style. It gives Ryo a completely different feel.
No goth? Well... I had never planned for Ryo to go Goth before either... But hey, stuff happens. XD

Anyways, cool drawing, although the legs look unusually short. For a second there I thought he was an amputee ><

I might be able to dress black... but the bright, cheery attitude would ruin everything.
Thanks! Mmm... are they that short? They're supposed to be facing a bit forward... I'll have to check more closely next time.
